I realize that most cd players are rated at peak power. Even so, 50X4 is one of the higher ones that I know of out right now. I think it is around 22watts RMS. The cd player that I said pushes my Excelon 6.5's so well and also a set of 5x7 bostons is a 2 year old Pioneer that is only rated at 35x4. I will check for gaps but I am fairly confident I did a decent job, I have installed several stereos before, but it is possible. I really do not want a sub. My wife drives the SVT 80% of the time and she doesnt want any subs anyway. Maybe my expectations were just to high, but I'll check it out. Thanks.
