My Escort yesterday decided to burn up it's timing belt.  Can anyone assist me in fixing this? I have done only one timing belt and it was on an engine that couldn't turn over (for school). Scot? Tayler? PLEASE!

well - for now ill say mabey - I havnt checked in to work yet to get my schedule - but if they leave me open - sure thing- I get out of school around 11-or 12noon- so after that barring the work exception ill be ok to help out.

BTW does anyone know if the 1.6l Escort engine is an interference head?

no - i dont have one- to bad because I needed it last week - but now shes runnin great. anyway - let me know when you want to work on the car- I have work from 6-11 pm on friday
