I wasn't ever going to post about this but, hopefully the whole world won't read this. I've been dating my gf for a lil over six months. We never fought. Until one month ago when she was raped...now the only thing we do is fight.  I feel like I need revenge. She doesn't feel she needs revenge, but to get on with her life. I feel like I cannot get over this w/o prosecution. If you are all curios she was at the hospital within 18 hours of the event. Did a rape kit and filled out a police report. I waited for over 6 hours in the ER with her. I love her very much, but I have never been so prideful in my life. I want to see him taken down, but I feel like it won't happen. I want what is best for her and me, but I am so angry at the person who did this.  What would you do fellas? Peacemistic views only please. 
i know what you mean by wanting revenge...my sister was raped a little over one year ago. The guy who raped here was friends with the police....so guess who ended up in the cuffs.....My sister....they interigated her so bad for so long that she finally just wanted it all over with and told the police that he didnt rape her....she got so scared by the investigaters that she didnt know what else to do...well they got her for fileing a false police report. and it also caused her to loose her job, since they went to her work and arrested her there.
It went to court and they have been putting off the case for 6 months now....she has gotten better but in my oppinion, from experience...is all they want to do is forget about it....its a terrible experience for them. I am sure she understands your want to get revenge, but do her the favor (as hard as it might be) and try to forget about it too.
