i have been with my girl friend for 6 months now and not a single argument or any thing like that....my friends tell me its not right. I am not worried because she means the world to me and i really feel like i found my perfect match...just wondering what you guys thought

Don't listen to those guys... I've been with the same girl for nearly 4 years, and we are getting married next summer, and I think the first argument we ever had was a good 2 years into the relationship.

Girlfriend time and "guy time" are equally important. Both sides need to recognize that.

i have been with my girl for almost 3 years now...and trust me the best times are the first 6 months. "The honeymoon" phase is great...enjoy it....there it loads of intimacy (ie sexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) and no fights....but the bad part is u think u may know her but after the 6 months have passed you will find out alotttt more....Ever see Fools Rush In with Mattew Perry? HE says somtin like : "Whats the point in dating...its only creating a facade for the first 6 months and then realizing you dont like the person and then you spend the next 6 months trying to find out who they really are" somtin like that.. oh ya and as for the guys... u gotta balance, but women need more time so just chill with the guys once and a while.. gl..

sounds like you've started on the right foot to a healthy relationship.
don't listen to your friends, they're obviously not used to having sound, healthy relationships with great communication and understanding.
My fiance and I have been together for 5 years and rarely ever argue. If we do, it's over within minutes. We just don't sweat the petty things nor hold grudges, and are quite capable of automatically forgiving and forgetting.
We knew we were right for each other within 3 months, but don't go gauging your relationship, especially in months, on other people's relationships.
Do what's right for you.
