Not everyone requires 'high quality' amps. If everyone could afford $500-1000 amps, it's be a boring world.

If the purpose for adding an amp is for subs, then look for an amp with high level inputs. If the purpose for the amp is to drive replacement door speakers, I'd invest in a head unit instead. I think you'd be more pleased with the sounds quality with even the modest 22w head units put out.
