Liked it...just thought it should have been longer and tied up a few more loose ends.

Great movie, I was not disappointed at all.

IHMO, those who are knocking it just don't get it. If you don't see the deeper meanings, you haven't read enough literature or aren't paying enough attention.

I certainly didn't catch everything the first time. There's a lot in there.

Oh, it's still there, but not nearly to the extent that it was in the first one, and most of what is there is made way too apparent so the Average Joe can understand it -- somewhat understandable being the last movie and not wanting to leave too many loose threads.

There are, literally, entire college courses written around the original Matrix and the philosophical undertones contained in virtually every single scene. But the last 2 movies put together don't have enough material to do the same with.

And what was the end all about with The Architect and the oracle, didn't really understand it. The way it ended made me think that there is goin to be another, but that aint happening. It defanetly aint as good as the first two.

Neo IS dead, he sacrificed himself. After Mr Smith converted him, then the machine worked through Neo and it could destroy all the Mr Smiths. Mr Smith was the opposite, but had the same power of Neo, so the two had to be distroyed. So Neo died because he was used as the sacrificer. All the other people were released from the holds of the Mr Smith program. That's why they were normal at the end. Just IMHO...

The machine didnt work thru neo, The smith program was gonna take over the matrix because he couldnt stand our imperfect society(as stated in the first one) Wether nio is dead or not i dont know. But i would def. say smith stole the show, he was funny, and his little outburst at the end at neo was very good acting. I think they did a good job with trinity and neo's love side story, I would agree that her speach right before she dies was a little long(thats bad directing) But over all i thing it did a good job tying into the first movie. And the scene at the dock. with the apu's was crazy. Probably the best full cg scene ive seen in a long time if not ever. The waves of setinals was crazy. Over all i thought it was good. But it was one of those movies that no matter what happends at the end its gonna make some people mad. So i think they did a good job providing a happy medium

and there is rumor of a fourth one...but i would be about 30 minutes long for it to be good...all that would be about is the new worlds...but the best thing i heard was that they want to do a 4th one where the humans attack inside and oustide the matrix to defeat the machines indefinitely...but that wont happen either...anyways, the movie itself was good, just badly directed

There is gonna be Matrix online, so I would suspect that it will be resolved there.

Matrix online?

A Massively Multiplayer Online Game that's been in development for some time and has some time to go. MMOGs can take many years to develop.

It will purportedly be a continuation of the movie of sorts in terms of general storyline and plot.

Never heard of it. Sounds pretty cool though.
