hello all,

I've been searching on this subject, and it seems 50/50 on if you like the sound of a SVT with the resonator removed and a straight pipe installed. I have two questions. Does anyone have a sound clip of a stock SVT exhaust system without a resonator? Furthermore, does anyone have any real data (dyno, datalogging) to support if this does anything at all other than sound?

Nothing other than sound. Raspy on cold start up. I'd go with an aftermarket res. like a Magnaflow. i.e. bullet muffler.

When I swapped out my resonator for a Magnaflow, the only power difference I felt was when I was at "above legal" speeds and it was a slight improvement.
