Ok, I bought a Svt from a Auction I've had it for about two months now. Well ever sence i bought it the battery has been dead and i've been jumping it. It was totaled out thats why i have'vt bought a battery yet, i was waiting to get it on the road.

Well it was hit it the rear and the wires that are under the spare tire was all cut. It started fine all the way until i accidently touched one of those five wires together. Now it wont start, It was running when i thouched those wires together but it just died as soon as the wires touched. I have power to every thing it just wont turn over I hear nothing when i turn the key and i try to push start it and that wont work. Pleassssssssssse Heeeeeelllllllllppp.

Are those the ones that go to the mysterious black box under the car?

Good idea to check every fuse. If you shorted the wire that's most likely what happened.

Or it could be completely unrelated to the wires and your started just decided to rest in peace...Just a thought...Probably not though, I just suggested that because I know nothing about wiring...

So you don't hear the fuel pump? Check the fuel cutoff switch (driver's side footwell) as well as them fuses. I doubt it would be the cutoff switch, but you never know.

be aware that you've got 2 fuse boxes, one in the engine bay, and one under the dash, on the driver's side.

Yes those are the ones to the mystery black box .I've checked all the fuses in both boxes and the cut off switch is good. I can arc the starter out and it will crank over but it still wont start eithe no fire or no gas. Please Help

Maybe it fried the fuel pump or the black box. I'm sure you could check the fuel pump some how but I think the black box is sorta a mystery thing to all of us.

just a thought, but it sounds like a PATS problem. My car did this when the PATS was messed up.
