Well I actually did read the FAQ on injector stuff, and it had said it would run a little lean on 19lb injectrs at high rpm...I would probably go 24 anyway, but with nitrous...would higher be appropriate and how big of shot can the 3l block take? I really not willing to find out
Thanks for the info guys.

rule of thumb is that you can run 50% of the factory rated hp. With 3L I don't think we can really say we know yet. With Tom running 300+FWHP, I would say, with a stock bottom end and 11.2C/R 75hp would be safe. Dual stage, possibly up to 100 (50+50).

19lb injectors with an FPR or FMU (that would be return style) can "technically" see that much power at the crank. However the fuel system pressure would be out the door and injector spray pattern so several degraded that random lean spots would be prevalent every where in the power curve. This is a very stupid way to try and regulate fuel.

19lb injectors in a returnless system can handle about 225-240 FWHP. Though with a bad tendency to lean out in the upper rpm levels.

A safe number for both systems is ~225-230FWHP. Making power above that level would really require running a larger injector to keep the duty cycle within sane levels and the injector spray pattern and longevity good.

Now the fuel pumps are reversed. The stock return style can support about 240-250FWHP while a stock returnless can support almost 300FWHP. However the returnless is hampered by a terrible lower pickup filter and has been known to cause random lean spots and early failure.

The best option for a returnless car is to run the variable rate returnless SVT Focus pump. (255 l/hr and only ~$85 ) Also DO NOT put the bottom pickup filter back on!
