Has the AGSF32PPM been discontinued? I got some plugs from the dealership I work for and he gave me AGSF32FM plugs. He said they are a new replacement of the old plug. I guess these are "fine wire" single platinum plugs. I have read some people having bucking issues with these plugs so I did not install them. I asked the parts manager to get me the AGSF32PPM plugs, but he said they were not available anymore. I guess I will be going with the Autolite APP104 plugs, which I hear are the same as the AGSF32PPM without the coating on the threads? If anyone has any more information on these plugs, I would appreciate it.

I had those FM plugs as a replacement for the PPM. I'm using them right now and no problems for three months by now.

Any plug that's not double-platinum will have problems eventually. For me it took four months for splitfire plugs to begin to show signs of premature wear (hesitation at 3000+ rpm and 80+ mph). I switched to Autolite APP764 with no problems since (over one year now), but someone (DemonSVT?) mentioned that there is another Autolite plug that has the coating you're referring to. I believe the APP764 does not, but I'm not sure.

AGSF32FM's are SINGLE platinum. Expect to change them in "roughly" 1/3 the time.

Hmmm, I think those are the ones I might've gotten from the dealer ...
About how long would "1/3 the time" be?

I don't think that the double plat's are discontinued, but Ford has changed the spec for our car's to the fine wire plug according to the dealership.
I used the Bosch +4's which eventually started misfiring, and now I'm using Autolite APP764's with very good results.

What's the difference between the APP104 and APP764?

Heat range.
764's are the plugs you want to use.
104's are 1 step colder.
