You need to sand down a spot to bare metal. On my trunk, you can see what I did here: This was using a Stinger grounding mount. I sanded down to bare metal, mounted using some self-tapping sheet metal screws, and attached the ground cable (the brown cable in the picture there).

Just use one of the big hex screws holding your seat belt latches in place, sand the area the ground connection will come in contact with and reinsert the big hex screw.

I think he's refering to the middle seat beat mount that is in the rear deck. I and as welll as many others have used one of he boldts to the taillights, works great for me.

He's referring to the bolts that hold the bottom of the seatbelts down, they are under the side cushions...just grab the cushion as far underneith as you can and give it a quick tug upwards.. it will pop right out. If you don't want to mess with that pull out the carpet covering the left rear tail light. There is a bolt with a nut on it that holds the tail light on. It is a very good solid ground.

the manuals for some amps (i think it was zapco i was checking on) specifically says to not use seat belt bolts for grounding. dont remember the reason though.

I just stuck a bolt into the floor or the trunk, of course after sanding it, works fine.
