my wiring was kinda messed up, so i "fixed" it. well i guess i didnt do the greatest job, and i went to start the engine and the wipers came on instead, knocking all my tools that were resting by them on the ground!!!
im just gonna buy a new one.
im talking about the wiring that contains the injector wires.
heres my question, i have a 97, so i got the crappy side-feed injectors. is there wiring i can get that i will not have to splice the new connectors onto?
im using the 3L 24# injectors

You would have ad to REALLY mess up the harness for aht to happen. Actually has happend to me before, but it was because the battery was almost dead and wouldn't crank the engine over so the wipers when on...So im going to guess you have a dead battery or a bad ground. Check it out, most likely a ground situtation.

If you wiring is crumbling you can get a new wiring harness for free provided the odometer isn't over 100K. There was a recall for that.

even though i have a 3L installed, and did a "repair job" on the existing wiring?

It has "nothing" to do with them being "3L" injectors.
It has everything with them being a completely different style altogether.
You really need to hunt through a salvage yard and grab a set of injector clips that match whatever pencil style injectors you have (return or returnless)

my injector plugs fit perfectly on the 24#'s and i had side feed before. the only thing is i had to take apart the plastic conduit and flip the plugs around.

i have the 3L wiring harness from the long block i bought, and got the connectors spliced on.
i plan on buying new wiring, and i would like to buy wiring that i dont gotta splice to.

Impossible. Just solder in the new clips. Not that hard. You can't buy a complete harness that will just "hook up" to everythhing cleanly. Even if you get a later harness. The knock sensor will have to be tapped as well as other things.
