So did any of you hear on the news P Diddy's clothing company got fined for running a sweat shop, paying the workers less then 1.00 a day. Wow, glad, I never supported his clothing line.

Some of my favorite older groups were:
PRT TCQ Beastie Boys Run DMC X-Clan Eric B and Rakim Cube Too Short NWA
As far as new artists go, you can't deny Em.
By the way, I have never understood the infatuation with Biggie. What, in all seriousness, was it that made him good? I always felt that his tongue was oversized or something because he did not have a clear voice at all, in fact, most of the time I couldnt understand him. I liked some of the songs, but understanding it would certainly help...maybe he had good lyrics??
This may be a stretch as a "rap" group, but Urban Dance Squad would have to get consideration for best group of the 90s.

lol, he was too fat! i think it was those huge cheeks which made it sound like he had a bunch of food in his mouth. Actually, he probably did have a bunch of food in his mouth.
As for people who have the least amount of talent, id have to give that award to Puff Daddy. (2pac used to call him Buffy along with Notorious PIG!) hes just awful imo! he has a show on mtv where hes willing to give one person a record deal, and these people have more talent than he does!

P-Diddy just shows up in every commerical rap music video, moans something like "oh, oh, uh, uh" and then goes "they call me Diddy" and that's about it. I guess he is kinda Godfather putting money and contacts in.
... and about infatuation with B.I.G. - I guess he was pioneering all this bling-bling stuff.
