I had my front brakes replaced (rotors and pads) in the middle of Sept to be ready to "slay the Dragon". At the time I had 45K on my car and I'm the original owner. Upon taking them off we were amazed at how much "meat" was really left on the pads, atleast 1/2 according to the mechanic. The rears were ok of coarse, so we left them alone. By the way, anyone who needs my old SVT front rotors let me know

Not an SVT but.... 102k for front and rears I still had about 10k or so left on the rears at that time but just figured get them both done at the same time.

Replaced fronts after about 23K. Replaced rears at the same time although they could have gone another 5000 miles or so.

Front set went at 63K (with new rotors)
Original Rear set now at 81K

But since they last inspect the rear brakes they screwed something up and now they have an awful vibration.... I have to get that taken care of.

I'm not sure you really want to know.

Replaced rears at about 70,000 or 80,000 due to uneven pad wear due to poorly lubricated slide pins. One pad of the four was thin, the others were less than half worn. Rotors were machined and reused. Present pads are wearing evenly.

Replaced front pads and rotors at 150,000 miles. They were wearing evenly and still had 4 mm of pad remaining. Rotors were worn to below minimum thickness and there was some brake shudder.

Replaced rear brake pads at 60K
Fronts are still original, and I turned 90K last night. When they were inspected last time, the mechanic said that they have another 60K in them.

My OEM front rotors were glazed and warped when I changed them around 30k. They had been glazed for a long time and I even sanded the faces twice before that.

All four pads had plenty of wear left. The rear rotors looked nearly new. (Matter of fact I kept the rear pads and rotors )

I replaced everything with Autospecialty rotors and Bendix titanium pads through Stazi.
10k miles since with no fade, no warp, no dust, just awesome predictable braking. (VERY unlike stock!)
