Just curious how many miles you guys have gotten out of your brakes on your SVT's. I have a 98.5 with 29,000 miles on it. I'm sure I'm nowhere near having to replace them, but just curious what you guys were getting out of yours.

My SVT just turned 23,000 miles and , last I looked , there seemed to be plenty of meat left on the pads (even with a bunch of autocrosses on 'em) . My '95 SE , on the other hand , took the metal into the rotors at 24k & change . I'll be keeping an eye on the SVT's brakes closely .

I had to replace my front brake pads for the first time at 105,000 miles. The back linings are still original. Most of my driving is highway with little in town driving.

'99 Mystique LS, totally original (including the original water pump and the premium stereo)! Bought new in December 1998 for $21,000.

I've replaced the originals around 70k (72 iirc?) and now I have 157k and the front pads are still have about half the material. (Mintex pads with Brembo rotors).
I have a 5spd and I compression-brake a lot and I also drive mostly on highways. I was surprised to see how long these pads last.

96 SE went into the 50's front and rear. Rears hit metal first. Just did the fronts. They were getting a little thin, but could have served a while longer.
Function before fashion.
