Well, I'd check to see if your amp is 2ohm stable bridged. Many amps that are 2ohm stable are only so in stereo mode.

The Strykes (click on SAE1204 on main page) are equivalent drivers also made by the same mfr as Shiva and Dayton, Eminance. Just a half the power handling.
