Will this offset work in a 19" wheel on our car? Seems awfully high.

The wheels that I am looking at are 19 X 7.5 and they have 225/35/19 tires on them....maybe this will help

Sounds OK to me. With that wider tire, you'll probably want that higher offset. I think somebody on here said there offset is 49, so that 48 should be OK.

I've got 47.5 offset w/215/45/17 and I'm not even close.
I thought the bigger the offset, the outer part of the wheel will be farther from the inside wheel well???

I have 17x7 with 49.5 offset....no rubby dubby with a blown, stock svt suspension

you also have to take into acct the width of the wheel. stock wheel is 49.5 but only 6.5 wide. it sounds pretty good. u shouldnt have too many problems. stock suspension?

no, not stock suspension. i have a koni/eibach setup. i know that i'll have to roll fenders and so on in the rear. does anyone know of anything else?

With 19's you want a 45 mm offset for 19x8 rims. I have 19x8 wheels and i have no rubbing. Check out my car web page

yeah but his is 7.5inch width vs 8. 48offset on his 7.5 should be good. like 45 on your 8inch wide wheel.
