ok so here's the update on the tour.......i had to pick it up from the shop friday and the guy told me he thought he may have a solution but i didnt want to go for it due to the extreme cost and possibility it wouldnt fix the problem. he told me what he thought was the problem and i went from there. i was told by the company i purchased the pump from that the screen on the pump would be fine to install even though it didnt match the factory one. well turns out that screen cut the pump psi in 1/2 literally. it dropped me down to about 18-20 psi and the mechanic said i was needing about 40-42 psi to run. well i took the pump out and took the screen off, put it back in, reset the computer and cranked her up and she's perfect!! no CEL and she's running stronger than ever! the guy from BAT said they should be getting the L shaped screens in sometime this month or next and then i'll be good. until then im running w/just the screen on the bottom since i wasnt able to salvage the old screen. moral of the story is that if it doesnt match 100% to the part being replaced, may be best not to install it. but for now she's back up and running and turns out the CEL was on just due to the lack of psi running through the fuel rail.
