Hey all, ignernt from NECO here. Just wanted to let you know that we're in the midst of raffling off a $500 gift certificate to either CustomCougars.com or DuratecPerformance.com. Remember that CustomCougars offers more than Cougar-related parts... i.e. suspension and brakes, and Jeremy at DuratecPerformance can get many more items that haven't been updated on his site yet. There are only 19 tickets left of the original 250 for the current raffle, with tickets being $5 each. If you want to get in on it visit the NECO fourms. Also, if you miss out on this raffle another will come up next Friday, Nov. 7th.

Thanks, and good luck.

$250 x 5 = $1250

$1250 - $500 = $750

Where does the other $750 go?

Is there a 2nd place, etc.?

They usually donate it to Cougar forums!

Alright, that's a fair enough question...

The main function of the raffles is to raise funds for CougarFest 2004. While i know that CougarFest 2004 may not appeal to you, i figured that some of you may still be interested in taking a chance on winning the gift certificate, regardless of who the raffle benefits.

The breakdown should pretty much be as follows...

$1250 from tickets sold
-approximately $75 for PayPal fees
-$500 for the gift cert
--------------
approx. $675 toward CougarFest 2004

Let me add that i started this thread with only the best of intentions. i've always thought of the relationship between the CEG and NECO to be a symbiotic one, and that i would extend the chance to win this raffle to our "platform-mates"-- the CEG. Sure, the raffle is to raise money for CougarFest, but the winner gets something for his own ride.

Respectfully,
Don

P.S. If it's any consolation your Spring Zing from 2002 is something that has been pointed out as what CF2004 should be modeled after. You guys go all out... we had pizza in a parking lot last year.
