If indeed he did have a 1989 Trans Am V-6 turbo in good running condition, I suppose a 13 second 1/4 mile is *possible*. The car ran a 13.4 stock from the factory, so removing the cat could possibly bring that time down to 13, again, if the car was in perfect running condition. However, the fact that he didn't want anyone to peek under the hood suggests he may have had some sneaky mods lurking under there. Then again, maybe he just didn't want to reveal that it was a turbo V-6, that way he could stick with his "oh, it's got a V-6" line and not technically be lying. :-)

P.S. All the 1989 turbo Trans Am's were white, was his?
