Oh yeah? Did they know you were racing or was it a guy with no right arm and a stick shift?

I can't vouch for beating Z28s, but I have seen what Shannon's car can do. And on the hiway, the car MOVES.

Well it does raise suspicion when you come in out of right field and just spoute of random non sense like beating a Z28, with no sig and being a new user and all. How many stupid newbies have we seen do this over and over. I'm sorry if your car really can and would love to hear how, but my smart remark was just as bad as your random, no proof, no clue statement. So we're even.

Could this be anymore vague How about you share some details like which year Z28, and a little info on your car might make that story alittle more digestable.

Agreed. If you had a FI I could see a close competition.

Here is a little more info! The Z28 had to be any where from a 96-99. Some of my mods include fidanza flywheel,KKM with heat shield,Underdrive crank pulley, UR KEVLAR CLUTCH,HOOKER TUNABLE EXHAUST,Superchip,75MM mass air flow,65mm throttle body. I dont even remember if all this was on or not but some was I know. Oh believe me I know I cant beat one off the line. I'm not an idiot. Maybe with quite a few more bolt-ons this might be possible. Who knows! It would be nice eventhough I dont know if it can be done without force induction. I still have quite a list of things that need to be done.

That's what I was thinking about the mis badged v6. My friend had a 25th anniv. Camaro (97 strangely...) and he stomped me in 3rd gear one day, so I see no catching up later down the line either. With only those mods, I doubt it was a z28. Unless you are turbo'd or any form of FI, I don't see it honestly happening...but you can keep believing it happened.
