Hey folks. I've had this slide show finished up for quite some time but due to the size of the files, I haven't been able to get them on the net. I did the video somewhat quick, and used a home video editting program instead of Combustion (the pro version I mentioned at the cruise). Jeremy, That is incredible...fantastic job. Looks like you have future in video production  I'm sorry I didn't get my video to you in time as well, there is some good footage on it also  I did however recently buy an analog to digital converter to convert my Hi8 video but haven't tried it yet. My computer at home has had some issues. If I get it working I'll send you a disc with the video you took with my camera. Once again...WOW  AWESOME! Scott

Scott: if you are talking about a USB video capture device I would check it out and make sure it can capture at the frame rate and resolution that you need it to for high quailty video because most of the USB ones I have seen will not do more than 15 FPS at higher resolutions and the resolutions that they will do 30 at look like a postage stamp.
For computers I reccomend either a internal card or something firewire based (I dont know if they have anything USB2 yet or not)

moxnix, It is supposed to do 30 but not sure about the size. You may be correct, maybe I'll try it tonight. I think the one I got is made by Dazzle? Picked it up at Best Buy probably crap with my luck. Don't think is was any more then $60...I'll let you know how it works. I know...you get what you pay for  Scott
