OK wait a minute!!!!! Are you still taking it to the same stealership that you have been to have all this work done in the first place???????

Car runs poorly, lurches, still could be a result of a bad engine. You should go to another shop if you can and see what you get. Does the car drive at all? Do you hear grinding going on? There are too many variables at this point to rule out before you bury it.

If you did take it to the same stealership, it is possible that they are doing what a lot of em do and they are trying to take you for a ride. It complicates things because you are a woman as well. Stoopid mechanics think that they can fill you up with BS just so you will buy anything. Did you tell them that their work made the car run worse and that you wanted your money back or a free fix?

This just smacks of someone trying to take advantage of you. You probably said to them something like this..."I am not sure but it may be the tranny" and they were like "yup that is the tranny alright..." I am not getting on to you for anything, I just h8 people that take advantage of other people like that....

But again....this is just supposing. It may be that your tranny is truely bad. But something just smells foul.
