I have two Contours..Both zetecs, a '95 & a '96..both mtx's..mine has 146,000 miles...the wife's 120,000..both still look great and are easily maintained...I figured with the money I saved over the years that I could afford a muscle car... so I just bought a 1999 gorgeous, low mileage mtx,'hugger'orange camaro SS convertible. Now all three of my favorite cars are no longer produced. I intend to get 'value' out of all of them.If I had the guts....I would add a stage 1 turbo to one of my contours but the high mileage may be too risky.
2 Contours '95 & '96 mtx zetecs & '99 hugger orange Camaro SS vert just for fun

Don't get me wrong, I loved my car to death. Hell, I even shed a tear as she peeled off in the distance, but...... The chance for any real affordable aftermarket for our cars is next to zip. Thank God for Chris trying to get a turbo for us, but 4+ grand is not pocket change for most people! That is why I sold it. I know my new car does not have the boulevard pimp looks of the SVT, but slamming the gas down and hearing the turbo spool with 18lbs of boost is like a songbird in the morning! We all have to leave someting we love sometime in our lfe. I chose now

Mine is staying, as long as we don't have another problem with it. (It's had a rough month and has lightened the family bank account a bit.) I've agreed with my parents: one more problem and it's outta here (as much as I don't want that to happen!)

I'm keepin' mine. Only had it for a few months anyway. I have a hard time getting rid of cars as you can see by my sig. The cuda was my first car. I bought it when it was a year and a half old. The only times I have ever lost a car were due to accidents (89 Escort GT & 70 Fiat 850), trade in ('69 Fiat 850 for '74 Fiat X1/9 & '82 Mercury LN2 for '86 Ranger GT) and ex-wives ('74 X1/9 and '90 Escort GT). I need a bigger garage! Karl
