OP javi718 New CEG\'er J Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 12 N.Y baby Queens	I need to find the thermostat on my 98 2.5 but I just cant seem to find it, if anybody knows where it is help me out. aight thanks

Big Jim_dup1 Hard-core CEG'er B Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 4,693 Thousand Oaks, California, USA	It is in it's own little housing away from the engine in the radiator hose on the left side of the engine behind the battery and below the air intake tube. It kind of looks like the hose has an aluminum swollen spot in it. The housing splits apart by removing the thru bolts. Jim Johnson 98 SVT 03 Escape Limited
