i work for a telemedicine company. i will be deploying the video phones to the patients for the health care providers. i'll also be setting up networks in some offices (hooking up vid phones that use broadband). if you don't know what telemedicine is i can explain. but the idea is to use video phones to have virtual nursing visits to evaluate the clients health. then schedule a doc visit or an in home nurse visit. this will lower costs for the heathcare companies greatly. the equipment we use is pretty cool stuff. i got to try out the new ip (broadband) phone with the wireless periferals (blood preasure, weight scale, and pulse ox) stuff today..........but i'm the dude that gets to intall all the crap in the clients homes (which means i get to drive in to some rough areas of philly, ny, and nj) but it's all good.
