The install was completed by myself and two of my friends. All of the Aluminum machining was done at work with a coworker of mine. Most of the stereo system was taken out of my previous car. However, in my last car I had only 2 JL Audio 12W6's and half of the wattage I'm running now. In addition, I added 4 Stiffening Caps and instead of using the full sized horns, I'm using the mini-horns. The imaging of the horns is awesome. You really can't go wrong with horns provided you have the patients to mount them and the equalization to tune them. I didn't want to lose my glove box (needed room for the 6 disc changer) so I mounted them directly under the dash.

I subscribe to all of the stereo magazines so I'm fully aware of the competition circuits out there. I've been involved with both Home and Car Audio for over 12 years, but have never competed. Reason behind that, the Bay Area is not on the map with regards to competition events. We have our share of car shows, but that's it.

Since I'm going to be living in the Los Angeles area now, I'm hoping to be involved with stereo competition.

Thanks for the comments about the install. I appreciate it.

Take care,

Ryan
