hey, i read that article in motor trend too . powershifting does make a difference, even with throttle hang. its equivalent to the difference between launching the car at a spcific rpm while holding the engine at that speed and then gassing it (regular shifting), and launching the car at a given rpm while the tach needle is wrapping up(powershifting). ofcourse with a worn clutch like mine, im sure one may not get the full benefit of the technique. even still in my experience its always been worth a tenth or maybe two.
