I find this very difficult to do in the SVT. I had a 97 escort that I could power shift all day long with ease...but I have tried in the SVT with no luck.
ANybody able to do this?

Different tracks and different elevations all play a part in times let alone not all drivers are equal.

Those are very close to my times. My 60' time was not that good, so that would seem to indicate more top end power on my car.

My mods are: SHO Shop Y-pipe, SHO Shop heatshield with K&N filter, Tru-Bendz exhaust, lightened and underdriven p/s and alt pullies, optimized tb,75mm MAF, and a Superchip. Since those runs, I have added gutted pre-cats and a Steeda shifter, which will hopefully improve my times.

Whoa! Is the track you run at a little slow? That seems like a lot of mods for a 9.8 1/8. Is this an SVT?

Yes, this is an SVT, that was with bad pre-cats. I am not sure if the track is fast or slow. The slowest part of my times are the 60 foot times. My point was that i achieved a similar 1/8 mile time with a way poorer 60 foot time, which would seem to indicate a stronger mid to top end.
