92mph??? I ran a 14.674 @ 97.55mph with the 3.0L
I do have a time slip to back that up
R/T 1.272 (Not going for R/T obviously) 60' 2.265 330 6.294 1/8 9.540 MPH 76.60 1000 12.324 1/4 14.674 MPH 97.55
Not a very impressive time for my mod list, but that's what spring is for. No more of those hot humid summer night runs for me! Time to get it tuned, heat shield back on, with some drag radials on a cool night and run a 14.2 or better.
Sorry, I know you were looking for 2.5L times but I bring the point up because of the crazy MPH's people are coming up with for their 1/4 times.

The trap speed is nice. 97.5+ mph is a good showing.
Like you said maybe 98+ with some good weather.
How is your shifting??? That can make a couple tenths in ET very easily.

I have run in the 14's before. I ran 14.7@92. I ran a 15.0? at with Fst4dr watching. trap speed was 90mph. I was almost there that day. I have been scared to post this because no one will believe me but I figure fst4dr will back me up if need be. Ran 9.88 out at the local 1/8 mile with major wheel spin. Track is in the parking lot of a football stadium. Hoping to be back in the 14's again after the trany work.

yeah thats a little hard to believe.
Actually, it's true. He ran 14.72 at 92mph I believe. I think he mentioned he was only pulling 15.2s. Then changed his launch style and practiced, practiced, practiced. I'm guessing he beat the snot out of the car to do it but he had it on video. Was very impressive.

soo how exactly did you launch it ?

It wasn't me. This guy had a Silver Frost SVT. Went by SVT2000 on the boards.
Its obvious from his trap speed that he was pretty much stock.

He probably still has that assinine centering spring installed.
It is notorious for pulling the shifter into the stop between 2nd and 4th. (idiotic idea!)
I can not preach enough how much better the shifting is with it disconnected.
Throwing in a Steeda or B&M short throw is always a wonderful idea too while you are at it.

Is that what stops the shift?! I always used to get stuck trying to go into 2nd and it used to piss me right off! Then I put MTL in and the problem went bye bye.
