Hey Jess, I'm gald you are ok! That section of Rt 1 is a nightmare.
You shouldn't have to pay a dime since he has insurance!

The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Jess glad to hear you are ok. Damage does look bad to the car though. If you need some help finding parts(incase you want to fix it yourself) i can help you search the junkyards. I got my driverside fender for $38. Has a little bit of damage but the side skirt covers it.
I didn't think that your hood would get a crease in it. I figured that it would just be folded under where the damage was. Good luck with that shiot Jess.

Man , that's a major bummer . It took enough of a hit to buckle the heck out of the hood . I hope everything under there is OK too (fender supports , etc.) . Now's a good time to invest in a new headlight assembly for the passenger's side , since the driver's side will be new . Pick a good bodyshop to do the work , or you'll be wishing you would've . They've gotta get that car back to it's stellar standards it was before . At least you're OK .
Good luck !

i had a similar experience. people shouldn't try to squeeze through unless both lanes are stopped. glad you're alright!
