I can honestly say my "To Do" list is getting shorter and shorter by the day.
Only a few pages left...
When done really isn't done. I understand that all too well...
...as to how it's doing... I'll let you know in the near future.

Just rolled 40k, so some maintenance work is in order. Other than that, just a lot of interior and exterior (aka Zaino) cleaning and pulling the clogged cat.

I think the type of people who actively participate in web forums are people who are genuinely into their cars. I am for sure, and as a result, my 'to-do' list will never end. Regular folk who buy cars and trade em up like they were microwaves (ie treat cars like appliances) will never have 'to-do' lists. Mine currently is- (1)Fix rattle that phone kit installer made (2)repair door handle after it came loose from me putting in new rear speakers (3)Decide whether to get in on this Baer GB for the brake kit!) I think if you love your car, you will fix any small thing with it, and always be looking for upgrades, new cup holders/vanity lights etc. I think my car is great, and for the money, nothing can touch it.

The Contour is doing just great because it's PAID FOR!!! That's right! We came into a little extra money that was just enough to pay it off a year early. My bank screwed up and gave me a month of major stress, (which is another story) but it all worked out in the end.
As far as my "to-do" list, it's pretty short (for now). Just maintenance stuff. Waterpump (pre-emptive) and 60K service, which I'm going to do myself for a change. Probably gonna need new brakes soon, too. As far as "mods", everything is just "dreams" and "maybe somedays". Still have to pay off the truck (22 payments) and knock down the big pile of credit card debt first.
Not really any issues with the car, it's running great (knock wood!)
EDIT: I take that back. There are a bunch of door dings and the back bumper is all scratched up from the stupid parking garage monkeys (valet parking... supposed to be a perk but it's NOT!). I want to fix it all, but I don't want to do anything while I still park there. Plus it costs money (or skills I don't have).

Mechanically, my car is great. Only had to replace an o2 sensor last year and that was it. Looks-wise, it sucks... It looks like the previous owner tried very hard to get as many scratches as possible on the black paint, then tried to apply touch-up paint with a watercolor brush . Add to that the racing stripe where my passenger side ding strip used to be and the ever increasing dings that people seem to like to leave on my rear fenders of all places. Finally, my front bumper looks like it has been through a war and the factory paint was done horribly. Oh, well at least she drives great...

Aside from that, it's surprising how a car w/ 111k miles still runs and looks like new.

Alright I suppose.
Right now all it really needs is a good cleaning. I've also got a wheel bearing going bad on me. Other than that...my to do list is rather large, I'm notorious for not putting my car completely back together after a project. My defroster button has been out for months because it's too much of a beotch to put back in. Or, I've had the little plastic "contour" piece on the dashboard out for over a year cause i want to put a clock there. Never got around to it though.

Well ... it runs fine, and manages to annoy and excite me at the same time
What really bugs me is how loud and cheap the car sounds/feels driving over all of the WONDERFUL roads here in SE MI. Plus the suspension feels clumsy and limp. (You can guess what my next project is )
Other than that I would like more power, I would like the clutch pedal and steering feel to be CONSISTENT, and would like to figure out why the steering pulls from side to side sometimes when slowing down (not just wandering - the car actually PULLS iteslf to one side - I have to keep a very firm grip on the wheel! )
Also, I hate my crappy all-season tires and ugly, damaged E0 wheels.
Hopefully all will be better next year . . .
