It has been brought up before. But you are looking at this all worng and I think a lot of people are. Just because your headlights are hazed, doesn't mean that you have to wet sand them. Wetsanding of the headlights only came about because of an issue with the Post98's lenses developing cracks on the UV coating that covers the plastic lens. Meguiars Plastx is a great product to use, that might keep this from happening and I have stated, that I have used it before, but it only will not remove the cracks that we are talking about here.
I, personally, have never seen a set of Pre98 headlights that have had the same cracks that I am talking about. It is also stated, in the How-to, that the procedure was for Post98 bu tmay work for Pre98 as well.
Either way, man I am just glad that the how-to got you to thinking and you took steps into your own hands to achieve an end result that makes you happy. And that is what the how-to's are all about.
