Hmmm, long term Contour, huh? Well, they do last, as my SE will be entering its 9th year of existence in November (born November 1994). I'm going to keep the SE around for as long as it keeps giving me (actually my wife) reliable service.

Heh, thanks for allowing me a parking spot next to the Ford's and yes though some have moved on, we all stay in touch as we are all, for the most part, automotive enthusiasts. (I know that was mentioned somewhere else too)

Well at the rate I am going with my mileage this time next year I will be over 300,000 and hopefully all will be well. I think it you maintain your vehicles properly, most of the time they should last for ever. I have a friend that drove her Nissan Stanza to over 600,000 k and then had transmission problems. Up to that point have very very little problem with her car but she did maintain it properly.

Yeh, I had to give in yesterday and put my snow tires on. It is that time of year again and I envy those of you who are lucky enough to store their cars for winter. I would love to since I want to keep the car but that wont happen for another few years.

I am hoping to make it to the next meet, snow tires and all.
