The mailman brought me my accel coil a few weeks ago, and I finally tried to put it in, but it won't plug in. The three pins on the coil don't line up with the wire harness, and it wouldn't quite plug in if they did line up. Did they change the harness at some point? How hard would it be to change the harness? I e-mailed zxtuner, and they said they only had one part# listed. Does anyone with a 95 have the accel coil? If so what part#? thanks

Sounds like you might have been sent the wrong part? I had one in my 99 SE, then when I wrecked it, we put it in Lee Cox's pre-98. I can't remember the year now, lemme look...
AHA! Lee has a 97, so no help there. AFAIK, there isn't a difference between the coil packs over the years.

IF it is any help, the part# is 140018. If you just eyeball it, it looks like it would fit, but it is just ever so slightly off

If I recall, there is a rubber gasket inside the connector on the coil. I had to swap the gasket from the old coil onto the Accel in order for the plug to fit. This was on a 98 though.

I'll look at it again this weekend, and try to get some pics. It IS close, but it just won't plug in. It bolts in to the car fine though...
