I took my car to planet ford to get a trade in value on it and look at the new mach 1 and there steeda stangs, well while he takes my car over to the apraisal building or used cars Me , my fiance and my best friend go look at cars, when he comes back we go inside to descuss deals and I dont like the way things are going so I tell him I am taking my buisiness elsewere. As soon as we go out to my car I notice my bumper is pushed in on both sides and the paint was cracked all to hell. The salesman that drove my car swore he did nothing (bs), the guy didnt even kno how to start my car after I told him it was a standard he just looked really stupid so I asked him if He wanted me to drive and he said no thats ok. bottom line nothing was done and I got screwed, so dont take your car there they dont kno how to treat customers

Planet Ford in Humble? My ex brother-in-law used to work there. It used to be called something else and it's where I bought my Contour in 97. You need to go back and RAISE HELL about that crap.

That question about talking to the general manager, if you didn't, you should have, before you even got in your car. Once you drive it off the lot, if you didn't say anything to someone in charge, good luck.

Exactly, once you leave their property, there is no way you can prove it was their fault.

And once you decide no longer to keep your business with them, they more than likely won't care, either. If you decide to keep your business with them, inform a General Manager about it and more than likely he'll probably either give you a better deal on your vehicle or a better appraised value on your trade. If you want an idea of what your car books to know whether or not you're getting screwed around (and believe me, used car dogs love to hold on trades and underbook cars--it's how they make their front end gross) give me some information about the vehicle (make, model, year, mileage, condition, interior, transmission) and I'll give you a few ballpark figures to swear by.

Yes I did talk to the GM and no he treated me with very little respect and did nothing about the situation. My car is a 00 ford contour svt with 73k and in good condition.
