Actually, yes I am high!

However, regardless, that is not the reason for the post. I love my blue oval as much as the next (interior and design quality comes to my mind first for Ford above all other domestic contenders), however after taking a ride in a 98 Z28 t-tops putting down 400 to the wheels (and, yes, I saw the dyno sheet!) with nothing more than a few thousand in modifications installed at a local shop, I seriously don't understand why people put too much emphasis on the Cobra's supercharged 4.6L vs the GM naturally aspirated 5.7L LS1.

Perhaps when the Cobra's go into preowned and drop about 15 grand from their fair market value (which they won't for probably another good 10 years since the 03 and 04's SVT's mean the end of a model generation) then I'll start appreciating something that's within my reach of affording.

BTW, no disrespect intended for those on this board who own Cobra's; if you've got the $$$, spend it!
