I bought these 32FM's from a member a while back. I know the right ones are AWSF22FS but I didnt really know this till I took a stock one out and saw the difference. The gap on my plugs is rediculous... i really need new ones. What's the difference between 32FM and 22FS? Am i really unable to use them?

Actually the correct plugs are AGSF32PPM. (or any AWSF/AGSF32 double platinum plug really)

AWSF22FS plugs will be too cold for you.

The 32FM plugs are the correct heat range, but only use one fine wire platinum electrode. They will wear out much faster!

If memory serves me correctly, both Autozone and the Ford dealer wanted to sell me the 22FS plugs, however it may have been a different series. Im still with the 32fm's because Ford wanted $8 a plug and Autozone was 'fresh out' of whatever it was they were reccomending.

Now that I know these will at least work, I'm going to put them in and be fine with them wearing out soon. I will order up a set of what's already in there and replace these in the future.

I really think 22FS plugs are whats in there tho...

Thanks for your help.

Kay here's the next question

Who wants a 6 pack of my 32fm's?! ($15 shipped all 6)

... any idea which ford vehicle takes these? I think maybe the V6 expiditions?

Does Autozone carry the Autolites? APP764 is the double plat for the duratec according to sparkplugs.com. They dont have a listing for motorcrafts, so i cant cross-reference.

Autozone carries the Motorcraft plugs ($3.99 each) The 32PPM plugs have the treated casing and threads so they won't rust or gall.

Advance carries the Autolite plugs ($3.99 each) Costs more to get the "titanium" line with the same coating as the PPM plugs.

yes...Autozone does carry the "single" patinum plugs for 3.99, but the autolites double platinum are the 3.99. I used the Autozone ones, and they just didn't feel right.

You really need to read what I post or at least more carefully.

Autozone sells both the standard 32PP (AGSF32PP/AWSF32PP) and the treated 32PPM plugs (AGSF32PPM), which are both double platinum as designated by the 2 P's, for $3.99 each.

Yes I agree Autozone sells other Motorcraft single platinum plugs for $3.99 as well.
This is exactly why I gave the Part Numbers! You can not go wrong asking for them by the Part Number.
