Hey How can you improve on this????

The only thing that really matters is whether your box is to exact specs for what you want. If you are going for clarity, a sealed enclosure, if you are going for spl then a ported box. Exact dimensions are important and the bigger the box the lower the HZ.

You could use more power for the subs as well. Those subs could take a 800a2 each. I currently have 4 15 inch L7's in my trunk and am running two power 800a2's. Way underpowered. I am expecting a delivery tomarrow of 2 Earthquake PHD2's (2000 w each) and I am also upgrading my alternator and need a couple backup batteries just in case. This amp is stable at 2 ohms all the time, 1 ohm for short periods, and .5 ohms for burps (2 seconds). What is your current ohm load for your speakers, because if you try and go down to 1 ohm with a Fosgate amp it just ain't gonna work to well and you go blow some stuff. Jared

Haven't heard the Diamonds in person but the Etons I heard were pretty nice. Very close to the likes of Dynaudio, Morel, Vifa, and Focal. Eton makes diamond speakers.

I love my Image Dynamic Compression horns ... best sounding stuff I ever heard. I'm getting them installed currently along with a couple of PHD2's for more power. 2 horns in the back rear deck, 2 horns built into the lower front panel, 4 - 6.5 drivers in the doors (front and back).

Ok, am thinking I will have one of the Hardest hitting systems around with this setup. I have Boston Aucoustics RC520 for the front componets. I will also have Botons Coxiles in the back (5 1/4) They will be pushed by an Alpine v12 amp (dont know which one yet) I have an alpine head unit right now (forgot model). As for the Subs. I am getting two Alpine Sws0804. Those are the Type S subwoofers. They are going in custom into the rear deck powered by another Alpine V12 amp. Then to back it up I am going to get a set of JBL-W12GTI's. These things are huge the weigh about 70lbs each. I could get the 15's (Might) but then it will be about 80lbs's each and I dont know what I can find to power them. They have a 5000 watts max. Anyway, My only problem is....I dont know what amp to push the JBL subs with. I was thinking of rockford but need some serious power. Anyone have any expierence with the JBL-W12GTI's?? But to back it al up I am going to get a neat amp rack installed in te trunk with some neons and stuff. With this setup it should be prett clear.I made an appt for the Install Shop at the end of the month.....So I geuss we will see.
Later,
Joe

The Xtant line of integrated separates are actually made by Morel. They do sound very good indeed.

I have a Diamond Audio 12" DVC sub and it is loud as hell. It is so much more clean then my old fosgate. I have it in a vented box right now but I am going to move it to a sealed like they recomend.I'm not even running to much power to it.

I am actually thinking about buy a shiva too. laugh
