Last weekend I replaced my air filter, and decided to just stick in a Purolator for the time being. I guess next time I'll probably go with a K&N or other high-flow air filter instead. I was just curious, for those of you who dropped a high-flow filter into your *stock* air box setup, what are your impressions? I know K&N and others claim 5-10 hp gains, but I am skeptical of that. I would be purchasing one more for longevity purposes. Also, has anyone here actually dynoed their car before and after the air filter installation? Just curious if you saw any gains at all.
Thanks for the info!
