i just replaced my clutch adn flywheel and when i have the clutch out in neutral there is a chattering noise. is this the clutch and flywheel breaking in or was it installed wrong??? TIA

It would help if I could hear the noise.

If you hear it with the clutch out and the trans in neutral it would probably be a trans noise, not a clutch noise. Perhaps an input shaft bearing or the bearings between the input shaft and the output shaft.

It is also possible that you are hearing some normal "gear rollover" noise. If you installed a high performance clutch, this noise seems to be transmitted more than with a stock clutch.

yea ok its a stage 3 spec clutch and lightweight flywheel.
