The other reason I remember thinking about this was because of what happened to Simon (Fast4door) on the Dragon last month. His alternator took a poop out in the middle of the Cherahola Skyway and let me tell you, theres NOTHING out there

The other thing I wonder is because your running a turbo and everything is "under pressure", will the stock alternator even be able to handle it

I remember waaaaaaaaay back in the day when I had my Caprice that was all hot-rodded out, I had to go with a reducer pulley on the alternator to slow things down in there, seeing the alternator wasn't meant to see that type of abuse and rpms. Its something to think/find out about, especially now while you have the time and its on your side
