this brings up a good question...
how old must a car be to be considered a classic?
how about an antique?
not trying to hijack...just curious..(cuz i cant rememebr the answers)

that is coming in another poll. stay tuned!
hopefully, the data will determine what is considered a classic and what categories of classics have more value than others. but THAT poll is for a different (and related) business idea based on a model of future growth markets.
(what's even more interesting is that this question has come up on 2 other boards at about the same time in the response cycle. coincidence?)

LOL! that's a slogan/tag line for MG from the 60's and 70's. Safety Fast! it's on all their old marketing stuff.

I think, in order to get "classic/antique" tags in Ohio anyway...the car must be at least 20 yrs old

i always thought an antique was 25 years or older and a classic was 20 years or older.
if the latter is true, then my 1983 El Camino is a classic.
so i need to change my poll answers!
i own 2 classics..not just one!

yah, something like that...it's been a while since I've owned anything that old. I had a '71 camaro when I was 16 & I knew it wasn't old enough for those plates (15yrs)...but anywho...
My dad owns a shop & I took the survey...sooo I don't pay for repairs, although obviously costs of materials & such I cover, so I don't know what kind of insight that gives...??? Hope it helps somehow
