Cops around here are corrupt as heck, drugs, drinking,etc. But I'm less intimidated, why you may ask? What if your friends with the cops.... See, not everyone loses when the cops aren't good.
I would never speed on the autobahn parts that have a speed limit, why? Because the cameras catch your plate. I speed daily on my roads, why? Because I get there faster and no cameras, only so many cops in the area and I've been lucky enough to judge when/where/how much to speed.
