Lots of thoughts going through my head so this comment isnt too focused

Last spring, I spent some time in Amsterdam, where pot, among many other things, was legal. There was a limit to how much you could buy (5 grams) so it could pretty much stay regulated. {The old limit was 30!} Contrary to common stereotypes, it was not a bunch of stoners running around or people tripping balls on every corner. In fact, many locals simply stayed away from it or rarely used any narcotics. As a society, I could not really tell a difference in every day living of the people there from any other European metropolis. Unfortunately, I do not believe that it could workin the US any way close to the way it works there. It may be like letting a kid loose in a candy store in most cases, due to lack of moderation and parental influence. My view of it is that if you are handling your business, its all gravy. If not, its time to stop!
