I still miss the rwd burnouts that my old e28 535i gave. Though, I don't miss the maintenaince costs of an elderly BMW. It was a wonderful car, but the day to day reliability is why I have and love my Contour. Yay Ford! Then again, a 99 Contour V6 with 46k, now 56k on it is bound to be more reliable than an 88 535i with over 220k on the odometer.

Get with the times bud. Some people don't take change very well. Reminds me of my friend, the Corvette lover, who just hates the current Vette. I don't get it.

You think Ford is more reliable than BMW...that's a laugh. It may be cheaper to maintain but saying that it is more reliable is stretching it a bit. I think the 160 miles difference between the two cars have a lot to do with the reliablilty.

The new Porsche Carrera GT has a V10 with similar output numbers that also redlines at 8400 rpm, but in a MUCH lighter car... 3080 lbs!!

It won't carry four people and their luggage very comfortably either!
The M5 has been my dream car for about three years now! The new one just fuels my desires.

The problem with America is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment
for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
