It was a wonderful car, but the day to day reliability is why I have and love my Contour. Yay Ford! Then again, a 99 Contour V6 with 46k, now 56k on it is bound to be more reliable than an 88 535i with over 220k on the odometer.

You think Ford is more reliable than BMW...that's a laugh. It may be cheaper to maintain but saying that it is more reliable is stretching it a bit. I think the 160 miles difference between the two cars have a lot to do with the reliablilty.
