I'm not defending anyone here, but hear me out on this.
It's one thing to throw Don Zimmer aside when he charges the mound. It's another thing to grab a 73 year-old man by the head, a head which has a metal plate in it from a serious medical condition, and throw him to the ground. That's not emotion..that's malice.

and that payroll crap means nothing, look at the Redskins, point made, they pay a lot for an 8-8 record. they pay big bucks to keep their core players ie jeter, williams, soriano, posada and a host of others that help the team more than the big names they pull in. don't hate on the yanks b/c finally they are winning again, they did squat in the 80's and first half of the 90's. it's a dynasty, get over it
