My mom told me that my duratec only has one cam and she has been a mechanic for over 2 weeks!! Of course there are 4 cams in the duratec silly rabbit. 4 valves x 6 cylinders = 24 valve. 2 intake, 2 exhaust = 4 valves per cylinder. DOHC = one intake cam + one exhaust cam... x 2 banks of cylinders = 4 cams. Just thought I would show off my amazing math skills and explain any confusion, or even create more... I'm going to bed.
