hey guys I want to try some new components for up front. can anyone reccomend some? Id like to stay away from:
infinity
RF
JBL
2 quick things:
1) Ill be giving them 100watts @ 4ohm
2) Should I just upgrade my woofer? I have the Focal TN46 tweeter.

ha ha..i've decided to pick up the rainbow reference line of components for my Mclaren on friday thanks for the help though.
but seriously i wa hoping for some DIY brands. looks like Ill have to wait for APT

I have Autotek components and I would recommend them. Hell, I only paid 50 for them and they sound great!

Well, I may be able to help with the DIY brands. (I would seriously recommend the Focals on sale at www.zalytron.com) Just noticed your note about the woofer. what do you currently have?

currently i have the 165ZLT which is the Focal upgrade specialfrom zalytron. Do you think these things will be able to use all 100 watts? I mean I know they will not blow but would I get better sound from a different woofer? maybe the polykevlars? or i was thinking about some Mbquartz

Dave listed the best ones. Are you really not happy with the Focals? Zalytron has a buch more Focals as well. Madisound also carries some high end stuff.
